Files are never uploaded
All conversion and extraction happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly. When you choose a file, your browser reads it from your disk and processes it in memory on your device. File names, contents, and passwords (for encrypted archives) are never transmitted to this site or to anyone else. We could not look at your files if we wanted to: there is no upload pipeline to look at.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which pages are useful. Google receives page-view data (page URL, referrer, device and browser type, approximate region) but does not store or log your full IP address. We load no advertising and no other trackers. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out with Google's official browser add-on or by blocking the tag in your browser settings.
Hosting and infrastructure logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes connection logs (IP addresses, request metadata) under its own privacy policy to operate and secure its network. This site does not access or use those logs for its own purposes. Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Third-party requests
One third party is contacted while you browse: Google, via Google Analytics (requests go to googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com) as described under Analytics. Everything else, including the pages, the fonts, and the conversion engine (WebAssembly), is served from this site's own domain. The converter itself makes no external requests: archive files are read locally, and packed ZIP files are created in memory and saved by your browser directly to your downloads.
Local storage and cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (names beginning with _ga) to tell one visit from another; blocking or deleting them does not affect the tool. The converter itself keeps everything in the page's memory while the tab is open: it has no saved settings, writes nothing to disk on its own, and uses no local or session storage. Closing the tab clears everything.
Your rights
Under regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA you have rights regarding personal data, including access, correction, and deletion. Because this site collects no personal data from your use of the tool, there is generally no personal record to act on. Changes to this policy
If this site ever changes what it collects, adds advertising, or adds any feature that collects personal data, this policy will be updated first and the change dated at the top of this page. Material changes will never be applied retroactively or silently.
